Elixir d’Anvers Barrister

This wintery egg nog is perfect after a meal or as a coffee. The combination of the hot egg nog with cinnamon and spices makes for a fun contrast with the fresh cream, chocolate and orange.
  • 5 cl Elixir d’Anvers Advocaat
  • 1 juniper berry, 1 clove, 1 star anise, 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cl sweetened whipping cream
  • dark chocolate
  • orange zest
  • Combine the Elixir d’Anvers Advocaat, juniper berry, star anise, clove and cinnamon in a saucepan.
  • Heat until just below boiling point and then sieve into a small glass.
  • Beat the whipping cream to soft peaks and serve cooled on top of the hot Elixir d’Anvers Advocaat.

Serve in a port glass and finish with chocolate and orange zest.
